Miles credit cards come in all shapes and sizes. From getting miles on your car, to getting miles in the sky. Today, I want to talk about on how you can benefit from the miles while you fly the great blue skies. Did you know that there are frequent flyer cards out there that can help you save money, and earn you free airline tickets as well?

This sounds great! How does it work though?

The concept is pretty simple, and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out how it works. If you have a reward credit card right now, or even if you don’t, they pretty much work the same.

Let’s say that you love airline A. Airline A most likely has a credit card that you can sign up. Airline A is going to be generous enough to give you 6 miles per every dollar that you spend on their airline, as well as 1 mile per every dollar you spend outside of their company. Once you get 20,000 miles, they will be kind enough to give you a free airline ticket. Sounds pretty good, huh?

These cards are great for those that fly a lot, and know they will be flying a lot in the future. Most cards require about 25,000 miles. I know it sounds like a lot, but it does add up very quick. Check with your airline to see if they have a card that you capitalize on today. There are a lot of them out there, so go find one, and get your free airline ticket!
